This week we had a Form Builder and Search Kit sprint in Otterlo, The Netherlands. The aim of this sprint was about sharing knowledge and ideas around search kit and form builder.
Sharing, Sharing and Sharing...
We started with sharing use cases from clients from CiviCooP and civiservice.de. Christophe shared how CiviCRM is used at Mediwe. Coleman from the Core Team shared the story behind Search Kit and Form Builder.
This week we are working together in real life! Although we are mainly exploring Search Kit and Form Builder we are obviously also discussing CiviCRM, the community and life in general. And we in this context is Coleman from the Core Team, Christophe from Mediwe (Flemish organization that uses CiviCRM), Andreas and Detlev from Civiservice and Klaas, Jaap, Alain, Erik, Betty and me from CiviCooP.
It’s a great idea to create a Custom Field with the field type Checkbox, particularly when you have many, many options. Did you know there is a risk of losing data if you don’t have the checkbox set up properly?

I have just published the first release of a connector between the Belgian fundraising platform Koalect and CiviCRM. The development has been funded by Amnesty International Vlaanderen and we are about to go into user testing.
In the new version of CiviMobile, the Cases Dashboard includes functionality to make it easier to track a series of related tasks. To do this, the User must go to the bottom menu and select the More → Cases Dashboard screen tab. This feature also facilitates access to the calendar of events: the User can view news and petitions as well as donate. The Dashboards block (Contributions, Memberships, and Cases menu accordingly) is available only for admin.
A few weeks prior to 24 February, I’d given up reading the news. It was a very happy time. Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, it’s been hard not to jump back into my Google news feed and periodically check in at NPR. Given the rise of misinformation over the past few years, it’s hard to know what is accurate and what isn’t, so much of what I read I take with a grain of salt.
