My first exposure to CiviCRM was around 2009. I was working at Freeform Solutions, Canadian IT nonprofit organization that supports other nonprofits by providing technology support. We were looking for a CRM system that would support an HR organization that had a few thousands contact records.

Here at Skvare, we strive to make Drupal and CiviCRM work as one to accomplish goals in a way that is simple and intuitive. Hello Civi Community
I would like to make contact with fellow charities using PCP Pages to learn more about the functionality and how it is used within charities. Looking to develop an online fundraising platform for individuals, teams and organisations using PCP's with some custom development to manage fundraiasing events and in memoery/tribute pages at LLR.
Would love to hear from both end user organizations and developers on this front.
Thanks y'all
In 2014 MAF Norge funded CiviCooP developing the TriggerAction extension (https://github.com/CiviCooP/org.civicoop.triggers) to assist them with automated Donor Journeys in CiviCRM.
Having gone on long car journeys with young children before the ACPED (Age of Cheap Personal Electronic Devices), I am very familiar with “Are we there yet?” Now I usually only hear it in my head as I try to make light of the longer than 12-hour flights I have to endure as an Australian who likes to attend CiviCon.
The ability to create petitions in CiviCRM was a tremendous move forward for people using CiviCRM for political organizing. The petitions feature took another step forward with the Petition Email extension, that allows copies of your petition to be automatically sent by email to a given target.
Just a quick blog to let everyone know that barring any new security issues arising we expect 4.4.11 to go out on 17 Dec. At this stage the most notable fixes in it concern logging and processing IPNs for paypal express.
Should you wish to help with testing grab a copy from http://dist.civicrm.org/by-date/
(it will be in code freeze from 10 Dec)
When I started using CiviCRM almost 5 years ago, I was amazed at how many things it could bring to a website right out of the box. The more I used it, the more I wanted to, and saw potential beyond simply keeping contact information, collecting donations, or managing events. CiviCRM is a game-changer. It was shortly after getting into a couple of large projects that the shine started to wear off just a little.
